Bound International offers specialized programs by which universities can execute effective online international learning.  We do this via a full-service, high support Full Program, a short-term Faculty Training Only Program and Customized COIL Consulting services for individual institutions and organizations.  We place emphasis on faculty and staff development with the expectation that their students will receive high quality virtual intercultural engagement.

Training Only

Overview

For faculty who seek training opportunities only, Bound International is offering a Training Only program. This opportunity may only take place for a limited time and must meet enrollment requirements in order to take place, with the requirements outlined below. The program will be conducted via Zoom.

Bound International staff have more than 25 years of combined experience in international higher education and student exchange and several years of combined experience in COIL and virtual exchange.

This program provides maximum learning, skills development and networking within a short period of time, to serve faculty in an optimal way.

What Our Participants Have to Say

Requirements

  • Minimum enrollment of 15 faculty
  • Balanced representation of faculty from different countries
  • Various academic subjects represented
  • Conducted in English with live interpretation available in Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Chinese
  • Open to all interested faculty worldwide
  • Faculty from community colleges, technical colleges and regional colleges are especially encouraged to apply
  • Faculty must register no later than February 15, 2023
  • Payments must be successfully submitted online by the due date for faculty to participate.
  • We may limit the number of participants per institution, to ensure greater representation across institutions

Partner Networking Fair

For those with COIL training and experience who seek opportunities to network and connect with other faculty, we invite you to be a part of our Partner Networking Fair!  This Fair will take place at the conclusion of our Training Only program and is open to ALL experienced COIL faculty worldwide.  Join us to identify new academic partners amongst a group of newly trained faculty.

The launch of the Fair will be conducted in English, but faculty will be able to interact with each other in their language of choice.
